STAFF & STUDENTS

· Hug-A-Bear is May 14-19 - $1 or $2 Root beer floats (both lunches) All proceeds buy teddy bears for children in need!!

· Cascade is throwing its first 3 on 3 basketball tournament on May 24th. Be apart of something big and come support local foster children. Come by the activities center and pick-up a team packet.

· Freshman, Freshman, Freshman! Listen up, your class needs help! Currently there are 2 spots open for class office and we need your help to fill those offices. Please see Madame Kink in room 425 or Matthew Butler or Rachelle Yap for more info!

· Hey Bruins our last spirit week of the year is next week, May 21-25. Our theme is Disney! Monday — Minnie Mouse Day; Tuesday — Goofy Day (crazy hat/socks); Wednesday — Donald / Daisy Duck Day (bowties/floral); Thursday — World of Color (class color); Friday Crimson and Grey!

· Hey Class of 2013! Senior year is approaching fast and we have many exciting events to plan! We currently have cabinet applications available that are due on May 18th. We plan many of our senior events like senior ball and jubilation. Make sure you get your applications turned in by this Friday to the activities center or Mrs. Hasstedt. Go orange!!

· Are you a Baller? Well it is that time again. Senior vs. Staff Basketball game sign ups will be held on Wednesday, May 16. Sign ups will begin at 6:45 am and will be limited to the first 12 students who sign up.

· Speakers for Jubilation and Commencement: Traditionally, three people are chosen to speak at Jubilation and three at Commencement. All seniors are eligible, and anyone who wants to address the graduating class and their families is encouraged to try out. Sign-up to tryout — now through next Friday outside Mr. Verver's room. Tryouts — May 31st and June 1st. Questions see Mr. Verver.

· Class of 2014! Are you a strong leader? Do you like planning events? Helping after school? Then applying for 2014 class cabinet is your kind of job! Applications are in English 2 classes and the Activities Center. Applications are due May 24th to room 613.

· Cascade Bruins Football Player Meeting — Wednesday, May 16th at 2:30 pm, Cascade HS Cafeteria — Informational meeting to go over Gear Handout, Spring Camp, Summer Camps and the overall Summer Calendar.

· Attention Class of 2012! The plans have been made for your Grad Night! If you have not already done so, please pick up a Grad Night Party Form in the attendance office. The cost is $145; the cost will go up on May 14th to $175. Don't miss out on a night of fun with your friends!

· This is to ALL Seniors! Me & Mon Tea is coming soon and we are looking for people to speak at the event. If you are interested then let either Ms. Rogers know or talk to Service 6th period in the cafeteria except on Thursdays.

· Seniors! If you have any pictures for the senior slide show, we're taking them right now. If the pictures of your classmates were taken during high school, send them to slideshow12HS@gmail.com. If your pictures were taken before high school, send them to slideshow12prehs@gmail.com. We want pictures of each and every one of you so send them in!
