School Improvement Plan 2012

Welcome to our school

Over the past several years, the students at Jackson High School have demonstrated impressive gains in their academic achievement and graduation rates. These improvements have a direct relationship to the efforts made by our students, staff, parents and community members.

At Jackson, we have been fortunate to have a strong and active Jackson Leadership Council (JLC) which is composed of students, teachers, staff members, parents and community members who have worked collaboratively to provide our students with the best possible learning environment that will allow our students to reach their full potentials. Our JLC is continuously striving to live up to our motto, Jackson High School, a School of Excellence.

I would like to take this opportunity to invite you to join us as we continue to work to make Jackson High School a school of excellence. Jackson and our entire community would welcome your participation in our Jackson Leadership Council, or in the Jackson Parent, Teacher and Student Association (PTSA). If you would like to attend our JLC or PTSA meetings, please contact our main office at 425-385-7000 for information regarding the dates and times for these meetings.

Thank you!

--Terry Cheshire, Principal
