How to Register for Kindergarten

All children entering kindergarten must be 5 years old by August 31, 2012.

Kindergarten registration for 2012-13 began on March 12, 2012 at all Everett Public Schools Elementary Schools.

Registration forms are now available online.

Registration forms are available in all Everett Public Schools Elementary Schools as of March 7, 2012.

Register your child at your neighborhood school. To learn which school your child will attend, click School and Path Finder or contact the Transportation office at 425-385-4144.

What should I bring? The day you register your child, you can bring the completed registration forms as well as the following required items: Child's birth certificate or passport documentation. Birth certificates for children born in Washington State may be obtained at the Snohomish County Health District Vital Statistics office. Call (425) 339-5280 or on the Web at http://www.snohd.org. Out of state birth certificates may be ordered from http://www.vitalchek.com. Proof of residence. A utility or home phone bill, rental agreement, etc. Certificate of Immunization and Child's Health History. Contact your child's physician or the Snohomish County Health District at 425-339-5220 regarding information about vaccinations and updates. A parent's guide to immunizations is also available through the Washington State Department of Health website.
