Welcome to our school
Welcome to the 2009 – 2010 school year to all our students and their families! It's going to be a great one!
Silver Firs staff members are life-long learners, dedicated to teaching and working hard to ensure the success of each and every student. We are delighted to be here for your children.
We are teaching each student the skills that he or she needs, and helping each one find his or her individual areas of interest so that each is prepared for the next level of learning, and ultimately his or her future.
Our students are held to high standards, both academically and socially. We support them as they learn, through outstanding teaching, positive reinforcement and redirection. The students learn that they must participate in their own education, and that hard work is the key to learning. We also help our students to understand that they must act in kind and polite ways towards one another so that all students will feel safe at school.
The students that we teach today are our future leaders. We take our mission seriously and promise to superbly teach the children that you entrust to us. We also promise to treat them very well so that they will be happy here.
There is no greater work than is! We welcome you to join us in the very worthwhile endeavor of educating this next, great generation!
