Benefits

Eligible employees with a benefit FTE of .330 and above may enroll in a WEA plan or the Group Health medical plan. Medical coverage may also be waived.

Dental and vision coverage is at no cost to eligible employees and enrollment is mandatory and may not be waived. Dental and vision are family plans and include the employee, spouse or domestic partner, and children up to the age of 26. Employees may choose from two dental plans, Washington Dental or Willamette Dental. New eligible employees not enrolling in a dental plan will automatically be enrolled in Willamette Dental coverage.

Employees with a benefit FTE of .900 and above are eligible for $50,000 of life insuance coverage at no cost. An enrollment form is required. Any employee with a benefit FTE of .750 and above are automatically covered under the district's long-term disabilityplan and is at no cost to the employee.

New employees may also want to consider purchasing optional voluntary life insurance, short-term disability or long-term care. Enrollment in health care and flexible spending accounts are also available to new employees.
